Where Were You Last Night?

Where were you last night? I only ask because I saw what appeared to be everybody else!
First we went to Clay McCleod Chapman's book launch at Books of Wonder for his excellent-looking new kid's opus, The Tribe: Homeroom Headhunters, first part of a new trilogy:

While there, we saw Hanna Cheek and Kevin Townley stars of the web series Agatha Christie's The Secret Adversary; the gang from Nosedive Productions, namely James Comtois, Pete Boisvert and Stephanie Cox-Williams (who reports she's in the midst of production on an exciting new movie); and Daryl Lathon, cast member of our own Willy Nilly and creator of the Web series Clean Kill.
But then it was Melissa Roth's birthday! So we ran and joined her at a Lower East Side  hockey bar, where we saw Roger Nasser and Gyda Arber, both of whom have shows in the upcoming Soundscape Festival at the Brick Theater; also Alexis Sottile (fresh from the Staten Island edition of I'm Tawkin' Here), Mel Delancey (fresh from Mass), and several others, one of whom turned out to be an escape artist. Roth reported she's acting and doing special effects in a new horror movie as well. We played a very scary game with wooden sticks and then it was time to move on.
...Then, who did we see on Avenue A but Killy Dwyer and Carla Rhodes, cutting up on the sidewalk outside Sidewalks (say that three times fast), where they were attending the Waggytail Rescue Spring Benefit. Killy, who performs practically every day of her life, for once was there just to support. Carla, however, fresh from a trip to Scotland was in full ham mode, and she not only performed, but, I'm told, walked away with a dog.
The Duchess and I were hot and tired though so we continued home, where, after some necessary preliminaries, I proceeded to consort with Messers. Wynken, Blynken and Nod.
